Lighthouse pair: Warszawa ↔ İstanbul #

Twinned since 1991 under the Polish-Turkish Treaty of Friendship. The Cittopia hub for this pair tracks:

Why pairs, not networksCittopia does not aggregate sister cities into mass networks. We believe the unit of value is the pair — two cities with one named relationship. A city can have many pairs, but each pair has its own hub, history, and metrics.

What the hub shows #

SectionPurpose
Treaty & historyThe originating agreement, anniversaries, mayoral exchanges
Active programsCultural exchange, language partnerships, urban-planning workshops
Exchange staffNamed officers currently posted in either direction
Joint projectsInitiatives co-funded or co-staffed by both municipalities
Comparative metricsSide-by-side Pulse, QoL pillars, demographic shifts

Open the hub in either city's admin: the widget appears on the dashboard home automatically when a sister-city relationship is registered.
