Public Atlas
The Public Atlas is the citizen-facing layer of Cittopia. Free forever, four sub-modules, no login required.
📍 City Profiles
A standardised profile for every city: population, transport, environment, education, jobs, attractions.
🏆 Pulse
The CityPulse — a single 0–100 number that compresses a city's civic health into one comparable signal.
🔍 District Lens
Drill from city-level into district-level data: where the rich and poor neighbourhoods sit, how the metro network reaches each.
🌿 Quality of Life
Seven QoL pillars (transport, environment, economy, education, tourism, living, confidence) scored per city.
Design principles #
- Three-minute legibility. Any citizen should understand any city in under 180 seconds.
- Same shape, every city. Whether it's Warsaw or Cape Town, the profile uses the same sections so comparison is trivial.
- No login wall. The atlas is bookmarkable, shareable, and indexed by search engines.
- Confidence-honest. Where data is missing, we say so. We do not interpolate, fabricate, or borrow from neighbours.
